Caithness Mod - Volunteer for Stewarding?
We would like to take this opportunity to ask for your help and support with regards to stewarding at Am Mòd Nàiseanta Rìogail 2010 in Caithness. It is always a challenge to recruit sufficient numbers of stewards to oversee the running of the Mod in the host location. Stewards offer their time and support at the Mod on a voluntary basis and An Comunn Gàidhealach are indebted for the vital work they do year after year. The stewards are a crucial and integral part of the Mod and, without them, the event simply wouldn’t be able to function successfully.
If any of your branch members or friends are willing or able to lend their support in any way shape or form at Mòd Ghallaibh 2010 and would like to sign up to become a steward, please contact the Local Organising Committee Steward Convener, Graham Cameron, for further details: Tel. 01641 571 246 or by e-mail, [email protected] or contact Carol-Anne MacKay, Events Support Officer, 8 Gunn Court, Thurso, KW14 8QP, on the phone, 07801 063 021 or via e-mail; [email protected]
It doesn’t matter if you haven’t had any previous experience of stewarding at Am Mòd Nàiseanta Rìoghail before, An Comunn Gàidhealach will be offering informal, basic training days prior to the event in order to inform you of your duties and role as a Mòd steward.
Importantly, we hope that you will find the experience of being a steward an extremely rewarding and worthwhile one.
